Greetings!
What do you get when you put together: Students, Teamwork, Science, Technology, Competition and Robots? Amazingly enthusiastic, energetic kids working collaboratively to apply math and science to engineering challenges that have the power to change their lives!
Western Region Robotics Forum, Inc. (WRRF) was formed to help contribute to the improvement of science, technology, engineering and mathematics education for K-16 students by promoting and supporting Collaborative and Competitive Project-Based Learning programs such as Botball, FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST Lego League, and the Tech Challenge on a year-round basis. The skills that students obtain through these programs, including cooperating on group work, making thoughtful decisions, taking initiative, and solving complex problems, are strengths employers in the technology sector value in potential employees.
Get involved with WRRF!
Why get involved with WRRF? ItÕs simple; our students are your future employees. After taking part in WRRF-related programs - and gaining enthusiasm for science and engineering - participants are heading to college to prepare for careers related to these fields, and will be ultimately be candidates for employment at your company!
Become a WRRF Sponsor!
We invite you to join us in this rewarding and exciting endeavor. To get involved with WRRF, become a WRRF sponsor! As a sponsor youÕll receive recognition and visibility with students and educators in the community through our events, workshops, and other activities.
The benefits of becoming a WRRF sponsor are detailed in the attached sheet, and informational brochures regarding WRRF are enclosed for your review. Western Region Robotics Forum, Inc. (WRRF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and all contributions are tax-deductible.
Help be part of this life-altering experience for thousands of students and help them realize their future potential!
Thank you for your interest.
Sincerely,
Ken Krieger
