WRRF EVENTS The Northern Califorina Robot Games, also known as the Cal Games, will be held at Woodside High School, 199 Churchill Ave, Woodside, California, on October 12 - 13, 2007. October 12 is a setup day. The actual event is on Saturday, October 13. This event will be a replay of the FIRST Robotics 2007 game, Rack and Roll. Admission for spectators is free. A WRRF workshop will be held at Santa University, in the Engineering Building, Building 404, on September 15, 2007, from 8:30AM to 4:00PM. In the morning, there will be a choice of mini-courses: * Tutorial for using DC motors * 3D Studio Max * Robot Controller and Programming Software Tools * Electronics: a short course for beginners How Much: $5 per person for the whole day, payable to the WRRF on the workshop day. Registration between 8:30 and 9:00, first come, first served In the afternoon, there will be panel discussions and we will test the field control system that we will use at the 2007 Cal Games.
