The
NASA Robotics Education Project, and
Western Region Robotics
Forum, Inc. are planning to hold an Autumn
Botball event this year
to give teams a chance to revise and tune-up their bots, or try out
that alternative design you were considering last April. We also
want you to invite potential new teams to ask questions and watch
the action, and to register the team leaders to experience a short,
hands-on workshop where they will be introduced into what it takes
to "train" an autonomous robot. [We will provide pre-built robots
capable of throwing a ping-pong ball.]
This is also a good time to show a potential local sponsor what a
Botball tournament is all about.
We will hold the symposium at the WRRF Headquarters in NASA Research
Park, Building 583C, Moffett Field, on Thursday, November 13th,
from 4 to 6:30.

General audience admission is open to the public.
Everyone will be admitted with a picture ID [driver's, or student

Please send questions to botball2003@wrrf.org or tgrant@mail.arc.nasa.gov
Attached is a JPEG flier you can distribute to potential new teams,
